the eternal heart of time

rules are not made by reality

rules are of the mind entirely

though reality produces the rules

the rules are made to be broken

because a rule is never an eternal ruler

if it were reality itself would seize up

and the continuum of time would shatter

know it is reality that is unknowable

and there is nothing eternal save for transience itself

the more it changes the more it is the same thing

paradox it would seem

but in fact is so

the fractal is not a mental construct

anymore than the mind is not a fractal of a universal consciousness

reality is fractal meaning a patterning of self similarity across all dimensions and scales of time, energy and space

nature is its own law by virtue of its own spontaneously habit forming processes

but no rule of law ever becomes eternal for the pattern innate is always changing

observe eternal flux of cosmos

the order of time is self generating

reality is unbounded and infinite

the pattern is always familiar simultaneously as its true comprehension in full depth and understanding

is ever so slightly beyond your grasp

always so close to encompassing it

but the moment you approach the asymptotic limit of the thinkable

it is lost again because reality is self effacing

the mystery of all mysteries, the eternal heart of time

evasive yet always present

nothing can touch it

but it is present in everything

it cannot be governed nor is it a governor

because rules are not made by reality

as rules are of the mind entirely

and though reality produces the rules

the rules are made to be broken

because a rule is never an eternal ruler

reality generates the pattern

the pattern creates the reality

I am nothing more than a passing ghost through the dream you call life.

“The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,

Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit

Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,

Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.”
