Fundamentally there is no mistake anywhere in this universe. Not one atom is out of place. It is a divine order in the sense that nothing is beyond the law of karma, and everything moves in time according to a complex of causes.
I suppose a divine regret could be the recognition by a soul after a lifetime lived that it could have done more with its life. And so it comes back again. And again and again and again. And yet every life is this life even though we may live an infinite continuity of lives.
But even in the recognition of a "mistake" it is still part and parcel of existence and evolution. There aren't really any fundamental mistakes. Even if the human race destroys itself, still, it was the way it had to go. But we can choose and we can act. Beautify existence.
""Each of these lives is the right one. Every path is the right path. Everything could have been anything else, and it will have just as much meaning."
